-Parents' Report by Eva Knuchel
The second Parents' Day this year was held on 3 October. The Director, Regula Willi presented together with the teachers, the pre-project and talked to the parents about the importance of education. The project manager Shabina referred the parents to their responsibilities to their children. By encouraging their children to attend school and for their interest in developing better show them the future prospects for their children. Then, the children's parents some of their crafts and led to the rehearsed plays and dances. The interest of their parents and spending time with them are extremely important for the children. The Parents' went with a question and answer session to a close, were able to share in the present with the teachers. The children enjoyed the day very much and left with a big smile to school. We will work in the future because, as many parents are interested in the project and to strengthen their involvement.

Problems encountered and solutions
The main difficulty in this month was the communication between India and Europe, as the frequent calls are quite expensive. We now use enhanced Internet phone provider, as a direct phone conversation, the workflow usually shortened. Other problems in the smooth project implementation was the spreading swine flu in the project area. The school had to remain closed for several days. With the advent of winter, getting more and more children have colds, as many of them have no warm clothes. We therefore have a clothing collection site organized to give the most needy families warm clothing for children. Despite some obstacles amount was controlled from the project further. A big thanks goes over the summer, especially the enthusiastic support of the two voluntary staff Julia Huber and Eva Knuchel and members of development +, which the planning and development of the Bal Krriti have supported project.
